Hello, I hope all is well. My name is Janelle Kilies, and I am writing in order to obtain information about grant or sponsorship opportunities you may know of. My friend and I are planning a trip to volunteer in Africa beginning in January 2009 for six months. There are a few different programs that we have been researching in order to find a fitting placement. Because African-based programs cost so much to run and are always in need of donations, the cost to volunteer is relatively expensive. We are planning on working and fundraising to raise money, but thought it would also be beneficial to look into other alternatives to obtain funding.
I was wondering if you had any information about how to even begin this process, or if you could pass this email along to someone who may be able to assist us. Thank you so much for your time and in advance for any information you may provide!
